If you are moving as soon as you turn on the chair, the lights will move from right to left. Try waiting a few seconds and see if the lights stop moving. If they do stop, then you can move forward. Hope this helps.
I have the same issue. The lights flash from left to right every 2 seconds or so. Once or twice when it powers on it didn't fault but as soon as you move joystick forward the error comes back with a quiet click from at least one of the motors.
If all lights are flashing excessive voltage has been applied to the controller system. 6 flashing lights on the 1133 indicates that the chair is being inhibited by the battery charger. Try unplugging the battery charger. Check you battery connections.
Your version has a Dynamic Controls model controller and joystick. Unplug the charger and engage the motor/brake lever so the chair is no longer in free-wheel mode (con't push by hand) Turn the chair off, wait 5 seconds, turn the chair back. If chair still does not run and your wrench is flashing you have a problem. Count the wrench flashes - the flash count indicates the error detected. 3, 4, 5, and 6 flashes indicate and error with the motors. 3=Left motor fault 4=Right motor fault 5=Left brake fault (may not be engaged) 6=Right brake fault (may not be engaged) Any other fault code usually means the electronics or wiring is bad and not worth fixing.
ajnss I need more information. can you turn the power on at the joystick? are you getting all the lights for battery level lit? are any of the lights blinking on the joystick? do you hear a clicking noise when you try to move the chair? Give me as much info as you can thanks
sounds like a charger inhibit problem. Whenever you charge your chair the charger inhibit shuts down the chair so it can't be moved while charging. If you are getting this then that function is not working. Lets try this if you know of someone who has a chair or scooter with an off-board charger see if you can borrow it. Plug the off-board charger into the charger port located under the front of the joystick (don't have the on-board charger plugged in) and then turn the charger on. turn the chair's power on and you hopefully will see the lights blinking again indicating a charger plugged in (charger inhibit) the lights on the charger should be red and yellow (yellow turning green when fully charged) If you still get the problem with the off-board charger then your problem is in the controller or power module and this requires a new one. If Medicare paid for your chair you can call Repair Xpress @ 1-877-81-3733 or Roadrunner Mobility @ 1-800-467-2668 to have them fix it for you and bill Medicare for most of the repair costs. Hope this helps you
The chair will not move if the charger is plugged in. The flashes are normal with the charger plugged into the chair. The lights on the charger mean that the batteries have been fully charged. Red and yellow lights mean charging. After you unplug the charger from the chair (if off-baord charger, turn charger off or unplug from the wall) then unplug from joystick. after plug is removed from joystick press the on button and all the battery lights should be lit and when you move the joystick forward you will hear the electric bake release and the chair should move forward etc Hope this helps
