The repair might be a five minute epoxy glue available at a home depot, lowes or other hardware store.

How to dismantle a russell hobbs steamglide iron

To disassemble the Russell Hobbs 15081 steam glide iron, you have to remove the two hidden screws on the handle. To locate the first screw remove the two adjacent blue buttons which are each held in with two hidden clips front and rear, so lever out with small screwdriver or similar. The second hidden screw is under the pivots of the water inlet lid.(I broke one of the plastic pivots but no big deal). Then using a thin blade, separate the top half of the handle from the bottom half of the handle. A bit of force is needed as there are more plastic clips. I started from the rear.
Once the top half the handle is removed, other screws become visible, so teardown is not hard, just note which screws go where, as they are different lengths.
My problem was that some of the screws/bolts were so corroded I needed to drill them out. The thermostat was also corroded, which probably explained why the thermal fuse had blown. The element was fine.

How do I fix the door/lock of my 1991 Acura Integra? I can only open the driver side door from the outside

There are only 2 places that you have the problem on the inside door handle. one is at the handle, and the little plastic holder that holds the rod to the handle broke, or the plastic clip the the door lock mechanism broke. the first can be removed without taking the door apart. the inside door handle has a screw holding it in place. you can remove the handle and see if its broken. the second requires you to remove the door panel, to replace the clip that hold the rod to the lock. I door handle in the car is a dealer item only(sorry to tell you that), the clip for the lock, you can get at the auto parts store. hope this helps

My Eureka Optima vacuum handle broke right at the metal tube.

I have exactly the same problem. I plan to drill a hole in the handle through plastic and metal, and then pass a metal pin to hold them together. I don't rotate the handle much, so the loss of handle spin functionality will not be a major issue for me.

Oven door handle (right side)came loose

If you put the door at a 45 degree angle on the hinges, it will lift right off. Then once on the ground, it should be easy to remove the screws of the inner panel and expose the screws that the door handle attaches to.

Door handle broke off

Normally you have to separate the door panels (as shown in the attached photo) and then you'll see the previously hidden screws you need to remove.

Or you can watch a YouTube video (not a video I made) here that demonstrates how it's done.

You can get Samsung parts here.

We're happy to help you and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.

Lever broke

Hi,

The plastic used is a thermoset, so should not want to melt in order to join together again by that method.

I would recommend using a clear 2 part epoxy resin. Make sure all parts are clean using a degreaser - cleaner, and dry thoroughly for several hours before repair. Use elastic bands or tape to hold items in place while the adhesive sets - about 24 hours for full cure.

If there is still a problem after this, please contact again, or rate so that other may follow the advice given. Thank you.
