RIM Blackberry Pearl Can't hear incoming/outgoing calls

if you cant get any type of service, it might be that your sim card is loose in the cage under where the battery goes. if you're using a pearl thats verizon or sprint, i dont know what to tell you sorry.

if another body cant hear u it is your phone's mike problem

In your BlackBerry Pearl 8130 handheld go to Profile and then select Advanced, Highlight any one the profile then click on menu key and then select Edit and then select Phone, Then select Out of holster, Press menu key select the tone. You will be able to hear the tone for incoming call.

Then visit the nearest service station with the your HH.

Press call logs-Press menu-click on Options-General Options-Restrict My Identity(It should be never)-save and ok.For text message your message center no has been changed so call your service provider and ask for message center no and update in your device.To update Press menu-select options-SMS-Service center-change the no and save it.After saving do the hard reboot.

Perform the following steps to try and resolve the issue:

1. Remove the battery cover.
2. Remove the battery (while the device is still powered on).
3. Remove the Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card.
4. Reinsert the SIM card and the battery to reset the BlackBerry smartphone.
