SOURCE: Sherwood AX-7030R amp - doesn't switch on.

Something doesn't sound right. The standby circuit is usually very simple. The "regulator" is just a transistor. Can you request and post the parts that he/she can't find. I should be able to get you a source or substitutes.

Sherwood RD 7505 - video button under the input area doesn't work when pressed. Can't change the input to have TV come through the speakers.

Hi,

Please power cycle your tv and check that it's connected as it used to be when the video-button was working for you. You can also power cycle your sherwood device before attempting your initial procedure/button press again. If it still does not work, please test that your speakers are able to function with other items in your location in order to eliminate the speakers as the potential cause of the issue.

Thank you.

Sherwood ax 3030r

What is the question? More information is needed before somebody can help you. What type of watts are you asking, power input, output, music, RMS, etc.

Sherwood AX-4103 amp keeps clicking

Hello there.... Check your speaker wires and then if that doesn't do it? try replacing the fuses on the back of the amp.. make sure power is turned off and unplugged. If that doesn't work? Try one speaker at a time ... something is causing the system to short out. Hopefully it is not internally

The main transformer in my Sherwood amplifier is down the primary winding is open circuit. I cannot find the transformer outputs as to replace it. does any one know the voltages and current ratings for...

I would contact Sherwood as Transformers are deemed to be safety components and should be replaced with excat parts or those recommended by the maker.

Sherwood AX-4050R Amp - faulty RCA inputs

It is rare for the actual input connectors to fail. More likely, either the solder connections need to be re-flowed, or the switching IC is defective. If you can solder, try resoldering the pins of the RCA connectors. Look closely at them and see if the PC board trace is broken. If the resoldering fails to resolve the problem, look for a switching IC with about 28 pins. It may be marked TC9163 or something similar. That will be the audio switching IC. I would change that next.

Sherwood AX7030-R

I have a number of suppliers that can deliver internationally or are located in Europe. If you can list the part, I may be able to locate a few alternatives that might be more readily available as well.
