Owner of car needs to go to dealer with registration papers and drivers licence or id. Takes longer to drive then to get the code but the dealers are the only ones who generate the proper codes. If you are lucky the original owner may have placed the code sticker into the owners manual. There is a spot on the pages in the radio section just for that.

Take the car to the Mercedes dealer and they should have the radio code in their files. Check that it is not written in any books you received when you got the car
The main dealer will supply the code usually for a small charge.
Have a look on line first though because some are offered freely .
You will need the model year and chassis number.
