Shows a blue box and says Harddisk security.

When i turn on my Acer Aspire One I try pressing F2 on boot up screen. Unfortunley it does't do anything. Then it says Harddisk Security in a blue box. On the botton it says Primary Master Hitachi HTS543216L9SLock, i push random keys but it doesn't do anything. Can you help me reset or go to the input password screen anything will help.

SOURCE: harddisk security password problem

It sounds to me that someone has passworded the hard drive. If you do not know the password, there is no way to access the hard drive. The two options in this case are get the password from whoever put it on or uy a new harddrive. People usually password their harddrive in case it is stolen or lost, then nobody can read thei data or use their computer.

restart the laptop then at the time of booting press F8 / F2 then a screen shows and there shows " Last knwon good configuration " go over this select and press enter ur system will be boot .

If ur system not boot in this process then take backup and format the laptop.

I tried upgrading my acer aspire 5920g from vista to win7 ultimate, it did load up but the problem is the erecovery it self... i dont have the back up cd to which the error is missing *.wsi file... can any...

Enter the BIOS setup ( pressing F2 on ACER screen Bootup)
Locate 'Main' > Enter
Locate D2D Recovery > Enter to Disable
Exit > Save
Insert Windows 7 Ultimate
Reinstall ( Press F12 > Boot Menu )

Blue screen on power up

For that you need recovery disk.
Boot your computer with recovery disk.
When you power up the computer press F1 or F2 or "del" key to enter in bios.
Then go to boot option set first boot device as your cd/dvd rom then save settings and exit.
Then it boot with recovery disk.
Then follow the procedure.
Enter in recovery console mode.
Type in prompt "chkdsk /r"
Then press "y"
then it fix error on harddisk.
Then restart and check if still face same error then choose repair option for fix that blue screen error.

Blue screen on my laptop

go to bios with F2 button. and you will see harddisk mode.  IDE/AHCI   change their situation.

How can i change my harddisk password in acer aspire 5600 series..

Power on, enter the bios setup (press F2, F10 or [Delete] when powering up and go to the "security" section.
Locate "drivelock" or "harddisk password", from there disable the HD lock.

Your harddisk MBR sector might be damaged, google fix mbr and resetup your harddisk mbr. After that it most likely will boot.

Acer Laptop crashed

first do one think remove the battery and start the system after getting on press f1or f2 or f12 or del button to enter into the bios screen after coming bios screen set the system to default settings and save and exit the system its restart check its working or not, still same problem remove harddisk and boot from cd -rom it will go for some installation , if it not goes motherboard if it goes harddisk problem
