1. install the Samsung Omnia modem driver on your Windows PC - can be found @http://www.samsungmobile.com/promotion/omnia/fr/sub02_xp.jsp
2. if you have installed Active Sync on your Windows PC then make sure that before you connect your mobile device to PC you disable "Allow USB connections" from the Active SyncOption menu
3. after you connect Samsung Omnia to PC, on your mobile device go to START->PROGRAMS->INTERNET SHARING and select the connection type (bluetooth or USB - most commonly used would be USB); tap "Connect". Your Samsung Omnia will connect to the mobile network if you have set up a profile for GPRS/HSDPA according to your billing plan provided by the network operator.

you should call the samsung office and tell them to disable the GPRS in your Omnia pro.
then it will work properly

I am afraid that you cannot recover your telephone records, unless you've made a backup before update your omnia.

Next time you decide to upgrade your handset, backup all data first. You can use software such as Jeyo Mobile Companion, which can backup you contact, sms, and telephone log data.

This is the finest trick I am sharing with you...

I have managed to watch YouTube Videos on my Samsung Omnia after doing researching on the internet. You have to access the http://m.youtube.com on the Internet Explorer and it does not work on Opera.
Please install the files according to the steps below.

1.Samsung Omnia i900 Owners you will need this TCPMP/Player version for Your device, TCPMP 0.72RC1-ARM-PPC-recomp-03.cab.zip.


2.FlashvideoBundle 1.4.4.zip


3.Install ac3.arm.cab



4.Install H.264.cab

And njoy!!! Watch YouTube on the Samsung Omnia...

you just have o insert the usb cable on your pc then you have open the folder where you want to save your music data.. you just have to copy and paste from pc to your phone..

1 : Download & install latest version ActivSync 4.5 for XP ActiveSync 4.5
2 : Download samsung omnia os ZHHH2Z < full update Hong Kong English tested by me

3: Press the 'dial' key to the left of the optical pad to bring up the dialer
With the onscreen keypad input *#1546792*#
Select 'Preconfiguration'
Enter code *#81230*# and select OK
Select 'Hong Kong', with the default Operator
Accept this, DEVICE WILL HARD RESET<(credit goes to modaco forum Paul for this tips)

4 : open i908ZHHH2_ENG from download folder

5 : Turn off the omnia

6 : connect the omnia to a pc using the usb cable

7 : turn on the omnia

8 : click start button if the device found

9 : wait for job done massage

There is a JTag Tool Exist for such problems and it is the only way !
