My Proform 770 EKG treadmill's motor is overheating. What is the voltage that should be pulled during use? Should the walking belt be replaced if we replace the motor?

SOURCE: Proform 622 Exp treadmill belt slips

If the walking belt slips when walked on, first remove the key and UNPLUG THE POWER CORD. Using the hex key, turn both rear roller bolts clockwise, 1/4 of a turn. When the walking belt is correctly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the walking belt 2 to 3 inches above the walking platform. Be careful to keep the walking belt centered. Then, plug in the power cord, insert the key, and carefully walk on the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until the walking belt is properly tightened. Now if this does not solve this problem then check the drive belt and adjust accordingly, also reverse the process of the above mentioned

SOURCE: Where can I get information

As far as I know, there is no printed or e-book/tutorial available about disassembling this model. In fact, even the technicians are taught only the basics at their training sessions and they came to know how to do it only after several attempts of practices. There is either no actual method, but if you at least know how to handle the unit, you can try. Let me give you the basic step by step instructions.

  1. First of all, disconnect the power connected to the treadmill;
  2. Remove the motor hood;
  3. Remove the drive belt from the motor and front roller;
  4. Remove the side rails and the rear end caps;
  5. Remove the walking board;
  6. Remove the adjusting bolts for the rear roller and remove both front and rear rollers;
  7. Slide the walking belt off the right side of the rollers;

And to install a new belt, reverse these instructions.
I can't recollect the exact steps but this is what I've noted down when I once worked with this model. I hope there's no mistake. Honestly I have only disassembled only a couple of times.
Let me know if you need further help.
Good Luck.
Thanks for using FixYa.
