SOURCE: Whirlpool Cabrio washer is leaking water

The problem happens when your installer throws away the drain hose u-bend, and stuffs the hose as far as it will go down the drain pipe. When this happens the end of the hose can get pushed under water, which causes the washer to siphon out the wash water when it fills. This results in an LF "Long Fill" error.
The solution is to get your installer to come back and install the washer properly.

SOURCE: whirlpool duet washer leaking water

If the washer is leaking around the door area, more than likely the bellow (rubber seal) is ripped or torn. If you pull back the rubber folds in the bellow and inspect, you may find a rip or tear causing your leak.

Another cause can be the rear bellow clamp (clamp that is affixed to the front of the wash tub) can come loose causing a leak between the bellow and tub. All you may have to do is tighten the clamp if this is the case.

The dispenser tube on the left hand side of the door, if not seated through the rubber correctly, can also leak during the fill or rinse cycles. The tube should be inserted through the rubber in the bellow to the flange on the tube. If not, water can fill behind the rubber and drip into the bottom washer casing.

The following link explains how to access and/or replace the the door bellow on a Whirpool Duet:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r385210-replacing_door_bellow_kenmore_elite

Searspartsdirect.com, appliancepartspros.com, pcappliancerepair.com and repairclinic.com carry the bellow. All these sites offer competitive pricing, so shop all of them for the best deal.

If you have any questions, or require addtional assistance, please let me know. I hope this helps you. NOTE: The bellow can also become mishapened over time after frequent use. This can also cause leaks around the door. Look to make sure the bellow is sealing around the door glass. If not, it should also be repalced.

Whirlpool cabrio washing machine doesn't spin

Try to turn the drum by hand, if it hard to turn, there may be something stuck underneath spin basket. If it does turn freely but makes a loud growling sound, you probably have a bad bearing. You should notice black oil and water mixture at bottom of washer, on the rotor. It will usually throw a f51 error code. This unit has service bulletin on this problem.

Kenmore Elite Oasis Top Load Automatic Washer Model 2708 When spinning it makes very loud noise. Also water leaks out the bottom when in operation

Sounds like the main outer tub and bearing assembly is bad. Water has(is) leaking through the main center seal, through the bearings(noise your hearing is these bearings) The tub and bearings with seal and center shaft come as a assembly, not a inexpensive repair. Also the water is getting on a little electronic board called the roto position sensor which can fail, found as part of the motor assembly on the bottom. Causes corrosion on the connection to the wiring. Your main problem is the outer tub assembly........ Good luck.......(I would also suggest you unplug the drain motor(some have a recirculation pump also) to make sure while spinning empty to run only the main motor that this is for sure the noise and water leak if this is your first repair)

We have a Whirlpool Duet Sport Front-Loading Automatic Washer and it makes a pretty loud noise when in the spin cycle. The volume is directly proportional as to how fast the washer is spinning. It's a...

The symptoms that you describe are caused by bearing failure. The water seal in the wash tub has failed, allowing water to leak into the bearing causing the bearings to rust. As the bearings start to rust, they will not roll properly and start to make a rumbling sound. The sound get louder the faster the bearing turns.
It a major job to repair since the washer has to be taken apart and the wash drum needs to be removed to replace the seal and bearings. Get a few estimates before deciding whether the washer is worth the cost to repair or replace. Sorry.
