I have this seagate hard drive...It is not working correctly.. Is there a way to repair the hard drive? A download that can repair it? There are some keys on the notebook that you can't use like the F8 , N, B,T,and a few others...I can use a regular keyboard but can't use the key's on the notebook. can this be solved.. I have no idea what happened....
Hard Drive: Seagate has a downloadable diagnostic program which can help determine the defect. My experience is that once these things fail, it is best to replace. There used to be repair centers where you could send hard drives, but with the low cost of new replacements, it isn't economically feasible. Data recovery is expensive, should you desire that. Google for repair/recovery centers if you want to check out those routes.
Keyboard: It looks like the built-in keyboard is defective. Repair of the original is doubtful. Unless the laptop is old, you might be able to obtain a replacement from the manufacturer. I have replaced a few laptop keyboards in Gateway machines here at the college where I'm employed.
One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or
to shutdown or fail to detect your hard drive
Test the leads that attach
to your ((hard drive from the motherboard)) or replace all the leads that
attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions + IDE,SATA and the
ones that attach from your ((motherboard to hard drive))
make sure all leads that
are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections
and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they
could be faulty a computer needs its connections needs its connections continue
its cycle and to have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer
error
hope this helps

OK, you have two problems.
For the keyboard, either the cable that plugs into the main board is not seated properly, or uou need a new keyboard. Since you did not supply the make and model of the laptop, I can't help you with a part number or price for a replacement. What is the computer make and model, and what country are you in?
For the hard drive, what do you mean it's not working correctly? What problem are you having?
