Whirlpool dryer #LGR4634JQ1 not drying or shutting off

Dryer turnes and blows cold, does not get warm and does not automatically shut off

My whirlpool estate dryer is not heating, and not cutting off at the appropriate time.

I have the same problem with a dryer less than 3 years old. Dryer spins normally, but no heat. Figure it might be the thermal fuse? The part is available on line for $9.99. Appears to be easy to access, next to the vent tube in the back. Anyone else have this problem? How was it repaired?

This sounds like several problems. Check ur voltage first. Then check ur heating element. If this is good then your problem is with ur motor

Why is my inglis dryer not drying?

You must have a gas dryer. Assuming it is a gas dryer, the ignitor is working because she glows. the flame sensor is also working because the ignitor shuts down. The only other thing in the assembly is the solenoids which tend to work properly but short and die when warm, then when cool will work some more much later. very difficult to diagnose. Replace the solenoids and party on Amigo.

The automatic dry cycle of my Whirlpool LGR4634JQ1 dryer does not work. I'm trying to locate the moisture sensor, but canot find it.

If you are looking for the auto dry sensor it is in the console where the timer is. Most of the time it looks like a computer board on the opposite side of console than timer. There is also sensor strips inside the drom that relay the info to the auto dry sensor board.

If you need further assistance Please feel free to comment me back.

Check the gas connections are tight. Also check the gas shut off is turned on.

It will not automatically turn off when running, the knob does not turn while running.

Miss Stephanie you must replace the timer.
If you have a timed dry setting. Run timed dry. If it does not shut off timer is bad.
If it does shut off you have a sensor problem.
