I have a Yamaha AW1600 and I had to go into my firewall settings and add it to my exceptions to allow the program access to my computer through the firewall. This may help. Thanks!

SOURCE: How can I connect my mackie mixer 1202-vlz3 to my

use the xlr (3 prong) main left and right outputs of the board. get xlr to 1/4 inch cables. one end will be 3 prong, to plug into the mixer, then the other end will be a mono 1/4 inch plug, like a big headphone plug. Then you have to get a dual mono 1/4 inch to stereo 1/8 inch adapter and plug it noto the line in. if there is no lone in, but a microphone jack instead, you will get a mono signal instead of a stereo signal. in this case, just use 1 channel of the mixer, instead of both of the stereo outs, and use a single mono 1/4 inch to mono 1/8 inch adapter.

the xlr to 1/4 inch cables can be purchased at a music store. the 1/4 inch to 1/8 inch adapters will probably need to be purchased at radio shack.

How to connect speakers to phonic mr3243 mixer

You would connect the xlr left and right outputs to a power amplifier and then the speakers to the power amp. The mixer will not drive a set of speakers by itself.

How do i connect a Behringer 1202 mixer to a Behringer B215D Powered speaker

Looks like both units accept 1/4" jack & I think the 1202 is unbalance out, so just use a standard screened mono (i.e. 2 pole "TS") jack to jack lead & you should be fine. Good Luck! :-)

How many volt , ac.or dc. for power supply phonic MM1202 mixer

I tells the power supply model numbers on the back of the unit above the power connector plug. It doesn't tell the specs as of how many amps but does describe several voltages of AC it would work on and also gives several model numbers of the correct power units that are sufficient. If you don't use one the recommended units, it could malfunction and give extra static noises caused by improper filtering of the power. It shows on page 8 of this manual:

I hope this helps you.

I have an epm 8 soundcraft mixer, epm 8 has no power switch just direct plug in to power supply, my problem is that it takes 7-20 minutes to turn on after we plug in the power cord..led power indicator no...

The TYPICAL power supply might be similar to that on page 2 of:

http://elektrotanya.com/soundcraft_spirit-mseries_psu-digi-out.zip/download.html

Scroll down to "get manual" and click to download... ignore other dowload links on the page. You can use a free unzip program to unzip the RAR files.

Here is the E-8 schematics but missing the power supply... you know the drill... same as above:

Since your unit has "morning sickness" I think you will find a BAD siolder joint in the power supply... The supply is very simple and it takes a trained eye sometimes to see the little gray line in the meniscus of the soldering at a lead that indicates a bad connection. Tracing the +/- 15 vp;ts should be an easy task. Pay particular attention to heavy components and the leads of the three terminal regulator chips... I would look at the +15 volt one closely...

Hi all i own a behringer XENYX 802 audio mixer. this device is powered by a power supply that as input to the mixer gives 18,5 x2 Ac, 150ma. i would like to know in which point of the circuit i can...

You would need TWO DC supplies as they use AC so they can create both a plus and minus 15 volt power source to run the internal op amps.

Here is a schematic for the 1202 which has same power supply configuration as the 802.

Scroll down to the little link "Get Manual" and download the service manual and schematic. You will find the power input in the upper left corner of page 5.

I get a distorted sound from my speakers throug a Phonic Helix Board. It is connected on a PC through Fire Wire. The distortion is also there while using microphones or other inputs (CD-players etc.). It...

Hallo landgenoot ;)

It seems it is a power supply problem; distorted sound, no meters, solo buttons not working, headphones low level and distorted. One of the power supply voltages might be too low or even missing. The Helix series mixers use mainly 4 supply voltages: + 15 V and - 15 V for the analog part (audio), + 5 V for the DSP and logic and +48 V only for the phantom power. If for example the + or - 15 V is too low, clipping of the positive or negative parts of the waveform (dependng on which voltage is too low) will occur. If possible, first measure the voltages coming out of the power supply. You could use a metal part of a jack as ground reference.
For the FireWire board an extra voltage supplied by the switched PSU is used. It is specified as +12,2 V, but I measured 14 V. This voltage is lowered to + 5 V by a resistor on the FW board and a 7805 regulator. (Not very efficient!) But as far as I can see, the FW voltage is not the problem here. I have some service documentation of the Helix series mixers (12, 17 and 24, so if you need more you can conatct me: frankdevries [at] versatel.nl.

Phantom power will not wor on my phonic 620 cd jacks will work but when i plug in a mic it will not work help

I assume you are using CONDENSER microphones, as these are really the only ones that can use Phantom power. Also do NOT use any MONAURAL connections to MIC jacks while using Phantom power.

I have a Phonic Helix Board 24 firewire MK2 When i open it all the peak led stays open I think the power suply is busted I need an expert

The power supply uses three, 3 terminal regulator chips. You should find +/- 15 volts and +5 volts DC from those. There are two fuses, one for each polarity. If one of those is blown, that would cause the problem and one would need to find WHY it blew before replacing it.
You need to find a competent electronics repair person.

Phonic Helix Board sound problems

You don't specify which model Phonic mixer in question.
Is it a powered mixer ? And are you plugging your speakers into the speaker outputs ? If it's not a powered mixer and you're plugging speakers into the Line Outputs, you're not using a power amplifier between the line outputs and your speakers - this won't work.
If it is a powered mixer and you are plugging speakers into the speaker output connectors and still getting little or no sound, check your speaker cables and the speakers themselves by plugging them into known good amps.
