I cant get my plantronics ex 233 bluetooth to connect to my ps3

I would try 0000 if it is a brand new headset that is the universal default password for those hope i could help =]

Plantronics Explorer 233 Bluetooth headset does not support the Bluetooth profile Advanced Audio Distribution (A2DP). Your Bluetooth device and your phone both need to support A2DP profile, without this Bluetooth profile your devices are not capable of streaming music.

Had the same problem and called Plantronics. They reminded me about putting the earpiece in "Discovery Mode" by holding down the button when turning it on until it flashes blue/red. Then have the EVO scan for bluetooth devices. It found mine right away.

First turn your Blue Tooth setting to "ON" on your Black Berry Curve, as it searches for a Blue Tooth Device, Push and hold on the middle button of the Blue Tooth until you see a flashing "blue light & red light." It's important that you see both flashing lights.

The passkey should be 0000 (four zeros) and you may want to review some new information we have now:

On your main screen scroll down to the bluetooth icon.
click it
add device will appear
click "search for devices from here"
then get your bluetooth
hold the side button until it flashes red and blue. then release
it will find your bluetooth
scroll up and highlight it.
the passkey is "0000" when it ask for it
then click again
let the 2 pair
you should be golden

Hold The Key On The Blue Tooth Till It Flashes Red and Blue Then Search For It. Once Its Found Click The Power Button On The Bluetooth Again.

Push And Hold The On Off Switch On The Blue Tooth Till It Flashes Blue And Red. Then Search For The BlueTooth When Found Push The Button On The Blue Tooth Again. Hope This Helps
