I dropped my iphone and screen went white, could just about see a bit of the screen but now phone has locked and cant see the number to dissable!! help

i had the same problem with my i pod touch i dropped it didnt crack but it went white and i could still hear music. we took it to the apple store, they gave me a new one, i guess it was broken. you should take it to the apple store, and see what they will do because ive heard this before and sometimes they can fix it!
you cant , you must bring it to an apple store they usually will fix it for free. i went in with a 2 year old 3gs with a broken screen and they just gave me a new iphone 4
Have you tried doing a hard shut down? Hold the silver button down on the upper right corner and also the home button (center,bottom indented button) together for about 10 seconds. the phone will completly shut off. then wait about 10 seconds and hold down the upper right hand button until the apple appears on the phone then release the button and wait (20-30seconds) . Doing this usually solves all my issues with my iphone when it gets locked up like this.
