I have a sharp arm450 and i have forgotten how to set it up to send and receive faxes

As you have the opitonal FX12 fax module you will see two phone input jacks on the fax unit. connect the phone line to the bottom jack and go to your screen press the image send button and touch speaker on the touch screen you should get a dial tone. When in the image send screen you do not have to touch the speaker to send a fax just dial # with 10 key pad put copier face up in feeder and hit start. To set up your own name and # you have to go into custom settings, admin nsetting code is 00000 default, image settings own # set name and #.

How do you set up magic jack?

1. Make sure you have broadband internet available (Cable, DSL) and that your computer is online. 2. Plug in the Magic Jack module in your computer's USB port 3. A window will pop up with a "Double-click the application icon to start calling" message; double-click on the Magic Jack icon. This will initiate a software download 4. After the download is complete, you will be asked to create login information (email, password), followed by your name, address and some basic questions about your internet service, choice of area codes and exchanges 5. After you've completed the registration, you can make phone calls from the dialpad window.
6. Under "Preferences" you'll find options to setup a headset and microphone (magicjack is set as default), as well as tweak the volume.

Need to connect my ipod to the receiver.

You can do this a couple of ways, depending on the model of iPod.
1. Almost every iPod has an 1/8" earphone jack. Almost every Receiver has RCA input jacks. At Radio Shack, or any store with an electronics section, ask them for an cable with the 1/8" earphone plug on one end and stereo RCA jacks on the other.
Plug the RCA jacks into the receiver, taking note of the name of the input (Aux, iPod, Tape, etc) and plug the other end into the iPod. Set your receiver for the input you're connected to and press Play on your iPod. Enjoy music.
2. From the Apple Store, or any iPod dealer, purchase an iPod Dock for your particular model. Ask the same friendly folks for an audio connection cable and do the same as above for the Receiver end. On the iPod end, just set the iPod into the dock and press Play.

Haveing trouble hearing sound when I have my IPod connected

You need a AI Net cable or Speed Cable... It plugs into the back of the radio (looks like a circle with holes), and the other end can have a "Y" plug (headphone jack and iPod flat jack). The headphone jack for sound, the flat jack to charge he iPod while listening. I just bought mine on Crutchfield.com for $29.99. With the discount code: 3A156 you can get standard shipping free. The item # is: 127ICALPA and it's named "PAC iPod Adapter for Alpine".

I am in set up wizard for the WGR614v9 router when i get to accou

And to think, you haven't had it long enough to screw it up :-)

I don't know what account name domain name pages are.
Take the unit out of the box, plug it in, connect your computer to one of the 4 LAN ports, and set your computer's IP address to 192.168.1.5 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0. The rest doesn't matter.. Now open up IE and type 192.168.1.1 in the address bar.

Mine opens up a pop-up box that says Connect to 192.168.1.1 with the text that the server 192.168.1.1 at WGR 614r7 requires a username and password. Here's where you use admin (always) and password (which you'll get to change).

If the above sequence doesn't work, look at the back of the router where the 5 jacks are. Between the jacks and the antenna, I have 32 holes, 31 of them are square and one is ROUND! There's your reset button. Press and hold it for about 20 seconds.

Now repeat the above steps from the top.

735 speakers

Use the "Analog In" jack on the sub-woofer and NOT the " Digital In". That's when they start working.
sumother set of these SAME speakers DOES NOT have an "Analog In" jack. So give them to a local thrift shop.

note: Boston makes 2 different speaker sets with the same name,
BA 735: one with and one without the "Analog In" jack.

Extention Display Name

This detailed instruction is not in the small book that came with the phone. It will be found in the binder or full sized publication titled “User Manuel’ for the models KX-TD816 and KX-TD1232 that came with the phone system.
You will want to use the overlay that DID come in the smaller book. You will place it on top of the buttons and it will provide programming commands listed in the instructions.

Page 71 has the “Getting into programming” details.

[Program], **, 1234

Now you are in user programming mode.

Page 87 will instruct you how to program names.

Press 004, [Next], [jack number] (ext 101 = jack #01-1, ext 102 = jack #02-1 ect…)
Once the jack and the old name are displayed, press [Clear] and then start pressing the letters according to the “Overlay”. (3 = 3 D E F) press the S-button that displays the correct character. S-buttons are the 3 buttons directly below the display. When you are done press [Store] and you can press [Next] to se more jacks or just exit by pressing [Program].
