Can't Upload The camera is fine, Records well and does its job. Only problem is, when I go to upload the film to the program the message "An error has occurred while trying to import an AVI file. Please exit the application and reboot your computer. (130) ***Direct show error. An object or name was not found.***" Any ideas guys? Thanks =)

There Is no one thing you can do to fix this camera, you have two choices, send it in to Kodak for repair or replace it.

Try using a card reader to upload them to a folder you create on your desktop. From there, You should be able to import them to any program you wish.

What program are you trying to open them with? If you right-click them, you can choose which program to use.

Check your film is mpeg as to load up to the net not all film types are excepted.

Buy a separate portable.card reader for the PC.

instead of using the usb plug that the camera has go to best buy, show them your card, and ask for a card reader
what this will do is plug into a usb port, and it will read the data off of the card, completely bypassing the program

Put the media card into a USB card reader on the computer.

Uninstall the software

Flush your registry of all references to cybershot or whatever your program is called.

reinstall software and see how you go

I changed the resolution size under options before filming and uploaded the video onto my provided picture motion program given with purchase of camera. I then switched the file to my videos under my computer so I was able to upload them onto email, and internet.

What was the solution? I have the same problem.

okay ive had my a345 since christams and all has been good until recently when i tryed to upload my pictures. the camera when plugged in will say "checking usb" then it will say "communication error" something will come up and say "choose program to upload photos" and there isnt a program is it because i set my computer back and dont have the cd? i download picasa but it still wont upload.help please.
