Can't Upload The camera is fine, Records well and does its job. Only problem is, when I go to upload the film to the program the message "An error has occurred while trying to import an AVI file. Please exit the application and reboot your computer. (130) ***Direct show error. An object or name was not found.***" Any ideas guys? Thanks =)

    I have exactly the same problem, have tried various cameras and laptops running XP, hope somebody out there can help...

Ok so all you have to do is open the battery door so it wont turn on and then hold the camera record button on the top until I say so. Plug it into your comp and then wait. it should say found mass storage device. Then you will see it under my computer. You can just drag and drop copy and paste the vids and play them with windows media player. (you can let go of the button when windows detects it.)

what this will do is plug into a usb port, and it will read the data off of the card, completely bypassing the program

I changed the resolution size under options before filming and uploaded the video onto my provided picture motion program given with purchase of camera. I then switched the file to my videos under my computer so I was able to upload them onto email, and internet.

okay ive had my a345 since christams and all has been good until recently when i tryed to upload my pictures. the camera1.gif when plugged in will say "checking usb" then it will say "communication error" something will come up and say "choose program to upload photos" and there isnt a program is it because i set my computer back and dont have the cd? i download picasa but it still wont upload.help please.
