Frige not cooling on bottom freezer frige

Check the air vents, from the freezer to fridge. Air travels through those vents. Sometimes, products get shoved under the vents, preventing air flow. It sounds like, the vents are clogged with something. I guess, the fan is working inside, of the freezer? Ice in the bottom, of the freezer pan, could be clogging the vents. You'll have to dig deeper. Good luck.

Water pressure

If you have a water filter, the filter might be too old and plugged. If you've replaced the filter or don't have one, I would check the water supply to the frige. You might have a kinked line. Also if you used a self piercing saddle valve on your plumbing supply it may be blocked. You would need to turn the water off to the house and replace it with a saddle valve that would require you to drill a hole in the water supply line. Also most friges have a tank in the frige to keep the water cold. If the frige is too cold it could freeze the tank. The average frige temp should be 35-36 deg.

Not cooling

listen for the sound of a hum and a click in back of the refrigerator. If you hear the sounds your compressor has failed.

Re: Dispensing water and Ice

the water valve is located behind the frige, remove the lower back panel and follow the water line from the house to the frige as that line meets the frige that's the valve that may be bad,but before you change it, you can test it, remove one of the 2 lines that goes to the side of the frige and push the switch to get some water, water should come from back there, if not re move the other line, it meant that the first line belong to the ice maker, try the other one now, it should give you water. if not replace the valve.
