Citrine series The screen was hit and now a large area has no picture-only lines. Can I replace the screen or is it just junk now?

Failed pixels is common. Replace screen or junk unit.

You most likely had a capacitor let go, they make a pop when the go out, inspect the PCB for a burned mark.

if just only raster then can not get any channel the tuner get bad which some parts get burned. if you don't have an idea how to replaced the parts just leave it to the trained tv technician or service shop.tuner is not too expensive unlike replacing an lcd monitor.

It is fixable, however the cost to repair it will most likely exceed the cost of replacing it so you may want to take that into consideration.

It will cost you probably in the area of $700.00 to replace the Light Engine. I don't think it would be a good idea to repair it. DLP sets have been out of production a few years now due to high failure rates of the light engines for all makes and models and the consumer cost for the lamp.

The cost of purchasing a replacement screen will exceed the value of your television.

Take it back and buy a recognised brand monitor looks like yours could be a melon .Even a second hand one by Acer would be better.

on your crt's manual menu you can resize the screen hit the menu button on your screen to begin or you can try the auto button

Yes it can be repaired but I dont know the cost..
