My Photosmart E327 won't switch on.

I've hardly used the camera, but now there's no sign of life when I put in new batteries and slide the front cover to the 'on' position.

    Hi,
thanks, but I've been through all the stuff on the HP website and it doesn't appear to be a simple re-boot problem. The camera has been used two or three times in two years, but HP are not interested. They basically said take it to the nearest service agent (100 miles away)!

Resetting the camera
If your camera does not respond when you press any
buttons, try resetting the camera as follows:
1. Turn off the camera.
2. If you have an optional memory card installed, remove it.
(Although removing an optional memory card is not
necessary for performing the reset, it eliminates the
memory card as a possible cause of the problem.)
3. Remove the batteries from the camera for 5 to 10
seconds.
4. Reinsert the batteries and close the Battery/Memory card
door.
5. After verifying that the camera works without an optional
memory card, turn off the camera and reinsert the card if
you have one.

I got the e327 photosmart, and I jsut put in the 8gb sd card in the camera. Does not work. It wont even let me format the card at all. The screen turns on but I cant even take a picture. Can this camera...

The E327 works with SD cards. Your 8GB card is actually an SDHC card. While it fits into the slot, it's electronically incompatible and will not work in devices not designed to accept SDHC cards. You need to use SD cards, 2GB and smaller.

I took my card from my HPe327 & put it in my HP109 printer, imported my images then put the card back in the camera. The display says 'card locked', how can I unlock it?

SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

Hellow, i want to make my hp photosmart e327 camera a webcam . can i do it?( and if yes , how?)

You can't use the e327 as a webcam. It was designed to store images (and videos) to memory, not to stream live video to another device.

I dont know how to remove the cardlock so i can take a picture or delete some pictures

SD and SDHC cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

I need help how do i get my pics off my e327 photosmart hp camera

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

Dark screen on HP Photosmart E327

Same problem here, i upload the pics on my computer, then i turn off my cam, few minutes later try to turn it on, but no success, still have the blackscreen. I try to change the battery, reset it (15s without the battery, another 2 hours but no success), format the memory card (even without the memory the cam doesn't turn on).

Blurry display after dropping

I did the same thing to my Photosmart E327 and upon inspection, I found that the len had fallen out. I could not find it so I am trying to find how to get it replaced. The blurry picture began for me after the drop. Suggest that you check to see if your len has become dislodged, or fallen out as mine did.

Hp photosmart m22 wont even turn on dont no why or how to fix

Read 'nightdivers' earlier answer The problem is that there is a small, less than 1 cm rectangular magnet, embedded in the slide cover just to the right side of the "HP" logo and above the "M22" marking, the magnet activates a metallic reed switch on the circuit board when the slide is move to the right to "turn on" the camera and take pictures also exposing the lens. When the slide is moved to the left, the reed switch contacts are off. This would be an easy fix for a camera shop (as long as you tell them what the problem is) and they would not be able to overcharge you with the knowledge you now have... This is a great camera, and would be well worth the fix My addition is: I used a magnetic ended screwdriver and lightly tapped the magnet end over where the badge/logo covers when the slider is opened. hey presto, my camera sprang back into life! reed switch must have just stuck
