The Sansa Clip is not compatible with iTunes. You will have to get your music from another music service, preferably one that gives you the songs in mp3 format instead of AAC format (although it will accept WMA's, the DRM-protection system on most WMA's will give you problems down the line, especially if you cancel the music service that you got them from - songs in mp3 format will be usable even after you've cancelled your music service subscription).

Hi. I have a Samsung Sansa MP3 clip-on player. I listen to audio books all the time. I order an audio book online. It comes to me in either a regular CD or an MP3 version (however they manufacture it)....

Normally MP3 players can only play music/audio files in mp3 file format. You need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto yourcomputer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3player.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.

I can't download music to my San Disk 1GB MP3 player that I got for Christmas. I did not get a manual with it.

To put music on your Sansa e250 you will do this:
Download Windows Media Player 9 or 10 to your computer. I would use Media Player 10 as it is the newer player. After you download Media Player 9 or 10 open it up on your computer, and then hook up your mp3 player, it should be recognized by Media Player and then you can transfer the songs to it. You need to put the music cd in your computer cd player and download the songs to Media Player using Windows Media Player 9 or 10. I have also included a website where you can download the user manual, it will say e200, but the instructions are also for the e250. Good Luck, I hope this helps. Please rate me, Thank You.

Loaded music onto my sansa clip mp3 player but unable to play back the music. only the preloaded music will play. i need operator's instruction manual.

I have the sansa clip. You have to make sure that you have windows media player, the updated version, and you have to have windows xp or higher service pack 2.... What you need to do is erase everything out of your sansa clip... Do the upgrades if neccessary and re-download them.

How to download music to my sansa mp3 1gb.

I use Windows Media Player v. 11 (free software) with Windows XP transferred via the USB cable. This program will use the "sync" settings to add the music on your computer to the player. But, if the music is not in the MP3 or other compatible format for the player, then the WMP program will have to convert it first, which can take quite a few minutes if you have a lot of music.

Needs to sync

When you first synced your Sansa Clip to the initial computer, you probably synced it (knowingly or not) with a music subscription service such as Napster or Yahoo. If the subscription has since expired, you will get this message. Alternatively, if you tried connecting the Sansa player to another computer which does not have the aforementioned music service, the Sansa player wants to verify that your subscription to the service is still good. The best solution is to hook the player up to the original computer, and resync it with Napster or whatever music service you were using by opening that music service's program. Most of the time, when you connect the Sansa player to Windows XP, Windows will prompt you: Windows will ask what you want to do with the device. Instead of "Take No Action," just sync the player with Napster (or whatever music service you have a subscription to) - Windows will give you this option. If you music service subscription has expired, a more deatiled process may be required which falls outside of the scope of this solution. Try this suggestion first - if it fails, e-mail me back (don't send me a personal e-mail - reply through the FixYa website - I want documentation of everything).
