You may have a faulty ribbon video cable or a loose video connector on the motherboard.

More likely it is a bad LCD screen cable. You will need to disassemble the LCD panel & check the connectivity of the cable connectors with the inverter board. If this did not fix the issue, you will have to replace the LCD screen cable with a new one.

I have a Dell computer with a flat screen now all of a sudden there are fine pink verticle lines along the right side of the screen. There is also a group of fine pink verticle lines about 1.5 inches wide...

Try the following steps:
  1. On the monitor, press Menu, and select Factory Reset.
  2. If the monitor has more than one type of connection available such as VGA, DVI, or HDMI, try a different type of connection.
  3. Connect the monitor to another computer. If the line appears when the monitor is connected to the second computer, the monitor might be damaged or defective.Otherwise, the video card and driver is causing the problem from the computer.let me know if this resolves ur issue.. if not then we need some other steps.. regards, guru

What can cause a single red line to appear on my laptop LCD screen? It's a small/fine red line appear horizontally (left to right) It's NOT radio interference, back light, broken ribbon cable,or connector...

Thats a generic problem with LCD screens. Its more common in Mobile screens. Sorry, no there is no fix to it other than replacing the LCD itself. Just pray that it shall not grow because as and when the compressed gas from within the LCD will leak the line will be becoming broader and broader. It is caused by damage to the LCD corner Just a hit on side of LCD and a hairline crack for giving way to the encapsulated gas.

Proscan PS35123-horizontal line only,sound ok

You have whats called a verticle swep falure. Its probably just the verticle output IC but if you dont know much about soldering or circuit troubleshooting ,you should leave this to the pros. Theres way to much Hi voltage inside these sets to twiddle around inside them. Also there are no consumer serviceable parts inside these sets as well, as they are all solid state, and my advice is spend a few bucks and get a pro to do this job for ya, as it can, and will, kill ya if your not careful.. Is it worth saving a few bucks??? Naawww Call a pro.. Good Luck
