One of your hydro pumps are seized. this is causing the engine to stall when ever the torque is transferred to the pump. There are the small pumps (or final drives) under the engine. One or both need to be replaced

I have an old Toro Dingo Tx 425 wide track that has been well loved and used. is now bogging down

Based on the information you've provided, there are a few possibilities for what could be causing the issues with your Toro Dingo:

Engine damage: Running the engine with very low oil can cause serious damage to the engine, including wear on bearings and pistons. This can result in a loss of power and difficulty starting. If the engine is damaged, it may need to be rebuilt or replaced.

Hydraulic system issues: The low hydraulic oil level and small hose leak could be causing issues with the performance of the trencher attachment and other hydraulic functions on the machine. It's possible that the hydraulic pump is not getting enough oil, which could cause a loss of power.

Fuel system issues: If the machine was running on low fuel, it's possible that debris from the fuel tank could have entered the fuel lines and clogged the fuel filter or injectors. This could cause the machine to stall or run poorly.

Given the symptoms you've described, it's difficult to determine the exact cause of the problem without further diagnostic testing. If you're not able to perform a compression check or other diagnostic tests yourself, it may be best to take the machine to a qualified mechanic who can perform a thorough inspection and provide an accurate diagnosis. They can also perform any necessary repairs to get the machine running smoothly again.

Have a self-starting, self propelled toro lawn mower about 5 years old, I ran it out of gas by accident & now it won't start

It seems to be an obstruction in your fuel delivery system. Get a can of ether and a spray a short burst of it into the breather area near the carburetor, if the mower starts up and then stalls out, then you may need to get your carburetor serviced.

I have a self propelled Toro walk behind that does not have a throttle control. Stalls out if grass is just a bit high. How/ where do I adjust throttle

Most new mowers do not have a throttle adjustment, the motor has a govnor that helps the motor speed up when the load requires it. The first thing you should check is that the blade is sharp which makes it easier to cut the grass. If the grass is still too high for the motor to keep up, it's usually easier to raise the deck (lower the wheels) so you are not cutting as much grass on each pass. Then lower the deck to where you want the grass height to be and make a second pass.

I have a Toro Proline walk behind . Problems with the self propel

I suspect the drive belt, not the Hydro. Especially if the drive belt was never replaced. The belts are known to stretch and wear out over time. It's a cheap part.

I have a toro walk behind mower. It starts, but oly runs for about 30 seconds and then stalls. Any ideas on what the problem may be.

Your problem is most likely the carburetor or the governor. Most

carburetors can be cleaned and rebuild but most owners will not

have the proper equipment to do a thorough job. Take it to a good

servicing dealer for his advice and estimate. Sometimes there is a

gasket or a valve problem and a good experience mechanic can

tell a lot by just listening to the engine for a few seconds.
