I have a 2006 dodge grand caravan that is leaking either power steering or antifreeze. The power steering is full but there was redish orange liquid leaking. The antifreeze is low and a horrible smell...

The horrible smell is antifreeze leaking from the heater core. This is the more serious of two leaks. You might be able to fix it with some stop leak. You can also tighten the power steering hoses.

What symptoms does a Dodge Caravan have when it needs steering fluid repair of some type?

Hi sandav,

In response to your question, fluid can be low and more may need to be added. Any repair would be on the way it got low, fix the leak.

If it is low, steering at slower speeds will be difficult. An upper body workout. .

If you are having difficulties, post the symptoms you are experiencing. Might be able to help
