Canon imageRUNNER 2200, 2800 Reset Fuser Error Code Want to know how to clear the E000, E001, E002, E003, E007 messages on your Canon imageRUNNER 2200, 2800 series machines. Below is the instructions to for the 2200, 2800 reset fuser error code procedure.

For safety reasons lots of copiers and printers turn off AC power to the fusing unit when temperature errors occur. This allows for a service technician to come in and evaluate the machine before it is turned back on. The fuser heats up to to 350 and 425 decrees. Due to the nature of the high heat is why these parts are shut off. No manufacture wants to be blamed for their machine burning down a company. It sounds scarier than what it is. These machines have multiple safety features to keep this from happening. The reset feature is just one safety feature found in the machine
The E000, E001, E002, E003, E007 are all related to high or low temperature readings and the 7 is due to fixing film rotation issue. Below is the procedure to reset these errors. Occasionally, the fuser will run too hot or cool. Sometimes, this is a freak occurrence like when the power flickers on and off or just a faulty reading. Whatever the case, the first thing a tech usually tries is to reset the error and see what happens.
1. If the machine turns back on and starts making copies then you inspect the fuser for possible problems and wear and tear. If it checks out then you let it go and see if it comes back.
2. If the error comes back right away then you know you have a more serious problem and it's time to find out what needs cleaned or replaced.
Service Mode Entry
1. Press the User Mode key. (Looks like a little man head. Some people call it the function or additional function key.)
2. Press 2 and 8 on the keypad at the same time.
3. Press the User Mode key on the control panel.
If done correctly the display will read

Kenwood BM200 : error message EL

From the owners english manual:

"E-L or E-S appears in display and machine cannot be turned on: Bread maker is malfunctioning. See “Service and Customer care” section."

Technical: Firstly check that the thermistor securing nut is not loose, and, if there is no evidence of thermal compound, then apply a little to the back of the component. Most times this cures the problem. If the appliance is still intermittent, it will be necessary to replace the thermistor assembly.

Trying to copy something and this error 2200 pops up and states refer to user guide

Hi
This is a scanner lock issue. You may try the following:

Power off the All-In-One (AIO) off and remove the power supply from the back of the unit. Wait 30 seconds. Then reinsert the power supply and power the AIO on.

Try a test scan now. If the error reoccurs, then try the below:

Power off the AIO and remove the power supply from the back of the unit. Open the scanner cover and check the scanner glass for cracks and the scanner casing for cracks. Close the scanner lid.
Open the top cover of the AIO and using the carrier belt, move the cartridge carrier to the middle of the unit. Remove both cartridges, close the top cover, reinsert the power supply, and power the AIO on.

If the error still occurs, you may insert the cartridges one at a time and re-check..

hope the above info is of use to you.. try out..!!

Error 2200

Error 2200 is a scanner stall error.. there are a couple things for you to try to fix it:

Power off the AIO and remove the power supply from the back of the unit.
Open the scanner cover. Check the scanner glass for cracks and the scanner casing for cracks. Close the scanner lid.
Open the top cover of the AIO.
Using the carrier belt, move the cartridge carrier to the middle of the unit.
Remove both cartridges, close the top cover, reinsert the power supply, and power the AIO on.
IF THE ERROR MESSAGE DID NOT COME BACK....
Power off the AIO and remove the power supply from the back of the unit.
Open the top cover of the AIO.
Using the carrier belt, move the cartridge carrier to the middle of the unit.
INSERT THE COLOR CARTRIDGE ONLY,
Close the top cover, reinsert the power supply, and power on the AIO.
IF THE ERROR MESSAGE RETURNS.. GET A DIFFERENT COLOR CARTRIDGE AND REPEAT THIS PROCESS....
IF THE ERROR MESSAGE IS GONE,
Power down as before, do all the same to get the carrier to the middle of the unit and RE-INSTALL THE BLACK CARTRIDGE.
Power back up as in previous steps...
NO ERROR? SHOULD BE GOOD TO GO..
ERROR?? TRY DIFFERENT BLACK
If after trying all of the above and the error message does not go away, you unit would need serviced (if it's under warranty, it's worth it; if not, you might want to replace it.)

My camerais say error #e45

if you get this error message and it's telling you to see the user's guide - the user's guide will actually just tell you to do powercycle

with several powercycle (removing batt> putting it back in after 10 seconds> turn cam to auto) it may work again

if not, it needs repair

the user's guide doesn't have this defintion as it's an engineer code, only the repair center can determine or resolve

Error 2200 on a Lexmark P6250

This is a scanner error. The light bar that goes back and forth during a scan is getting stuck for some reason. You might also double check your cartridges. There is a complete article about this on the Lexmark website at: http://support.lexmark.com/cgi-perl/knowledgebase.cgi?ccs=229:1:0:462:0:0&framed=&docid=ENUS24402&relevance=1 The user's guide should be installed on your computer (Look under Lexmark 6200 Series in your Start Menu) You can also find the manuals at http://www.lexmark.com/publications/eng/6200/index.html
