The busy sign generally comes when:
Image is being recorded to the memory card, or playback mode is starting up.

It possible your memory card is full, please therefore down load your pictures and try again after erasing and reformating the memory card..
Alternatvely, please also reset all the camera ands menu settings to default.

Hope it works for you.

1. Try to reinstall your camera driver / software again.

2. Restart the PC/Laptop.

3. Now, connect the two devices for importing pictures!

Cannot transfer files from computer back to Canon Powershot A530

Your camera is designed to be a source of pictures, not a destination. If you want to copy pictures to a memory card, you need to use a card reader and not a camera.

I Have a digital camera Cannon A530, but i can't take picture becouse said card is bloqued, what can i do?

Take the card out and look along the edge for a small 'switch'. This switch will have a 'locked' and an 'unlocked' position. Make sure it is 'unlocked'. If you still get the advisory, try another SD card. (Sometimes those little 'switches' fail.)

Look for the section describing "macro" shots. (or just select the little button with a flower on it on the back of your camera. Remember to deselect it when going back to normal pictures)

Problems with the battery and the flash on my canon powershot A530

Hi, On another brand/model of a digicam, a similar problem was fixed by cleaning the battery terminals/contacts. The ends of the terminals that pushes on the battery were partially corroded hence the batteries were not getting full contact. They were cleaned by scraping off the corrosion and applying a strong solvent using cotton buds. Further, they were bend a little to add more pressure to the batteries. If the above does not work, it is possible that the flash charging circuitry is defective and drawing much power than it should normally be. Try operating the digicam with the flash off. If this likewise is a "no joy", perhaps your camera would need the services of a qualified professional. Hope this be of some idea/help. Post back how things turn up or should you need further information. Good luck and kind regards.
