Keyborad dont light - Acer Aspire 1640Z Notebook

You dont need your laptops wireless connection to connect wireless keyborad.
You have find a small usb device with youriwreless keyboard. Connect it in your laptop and then you can turn on your keyboard it will automatically done.

Can you please let me know , whether you your keyborad lights not blinking or motherborad? If your keyborad light is not blinking . then check the cable plug in and restart your system. IF *********** board is the problem, then using warranty you can service it..

the symbols on the keyborad of laptop usually work with either the "shift" key or the function key abbreviated as 'Fn' . this key is usually located in either corners of the keyboard of the most laptops.

1. first you need to remove the keyborad
2. use a special contact cleaner to clean it
3. use a hair dryer to dry it
4. reinstall the keyborad

the picture if the conatct cleaner is :

Normal 0 Press the Receiver button (and the lights will start flashing.
Then if the Keyboard isn't working, press the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the board to connect the keyboard to the receiver.

If the MOUSE isn’t working, push the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the mouse to connect to the receiver. Then they should work okay.

have you try to open your keyborad and clean it?
is this the only key that was having problem?
if you dont want to buy new keyboard there's a trick for it

press Alt on your keyboard then press the number 6 and 4 on the right side off your keyboard after you type the number release the ALT key
