Well i found a way around the 595B/2A7B bios password so i then got my laptop to work until i mistakenly (i know its unbelievable stupid of me) flash-upgraded my bios version to a 1F5A, and that is where im stuck at right now, i know nothing about short circuiting chips so im leaning more towards finding a password code breaker like i did the first time, any sort of help would be much appreciated. thanks very much in advance. oh btw i skimmed through the technospot forums for this and found nothing about this specific service tag.
HYJACKERS: rakoto
short circuiting chips is the most dumbb thing ever, ''
the BIOS password
admin?
or TPM locked (the shorting chips is for this and EVIL)
or Bitlocker locked, ?
rakoto
not one time did you say what is on the screen;
power on password.
does hitting enter 3 times even blank PW
show halt code?
if you see a halt code, there,
that tells us, there is BACKDOOR Password available.
http://pcdied.com/passwords.html
there many power on PW block/locks
ADmin , users bios. or so called power locks.
fingerprint reader locks.
then bit locker
TPM locks if Enterprise grade PC.
and last windows login. if you get this far.
8 years old for highjackersPC
from your service manual;.
ADMIN PW.
Restricts changes to the settings in Setup
l
Restricts the boot devices listed in the Boot Menu to those enabled in the "Boot Sequence" field
l
Prohibits changes to the owner and asset tags
l
Substitutes for the system and hard drive password

hyjacker, I see this PC has TPM chip
that means its Enerprise grade PC.
and if that is set, you do have problem.
large.
the word jump or jumper is not in the service manual, so only dell can fix this PC
if there is no HALT CODES stated above.
most PC that are Enterprise have no backdoor
Halt code , methods, on purpose.
and last what did Dell say to the last person asking this, and is correct.

Dell usually sets a default password as password or admin Try those first. If no luck go into the bios setup by continually tapping the exc key while the computer boots. If your licky you may be able to set yourself as administrator and give yourself admin rights. With admin rights you can do anything.

Hi,
Not all Dell code generators work on the the service tag ending 595B even though they state they will. Only Dell have the master password generator for that tag ending.
If you are the outright owner of the laptop and you can provide proof of purchase Dell will give you the code themselves for no fee.
If you are the owner then I suggest you give Dell customer services a call. Below is a link to Dells support website where you will get a phone number for them.

You should find it easy to use and Dell's customer service are very helpful.
Good luck.
