Vga i have onboard vga on the asrock p4vmb motherboard but cant get no output to my moniter

Did you buy a used board? if so, it is possable that the bios is trying to output to an add on monitor. First, try to reset the CMOS, (usually by moving a jumper, trying to power on the system, powering it off and moving the jumper back) or you could try using a card to see if that is the problem, if so, it is just a manner of changing the bios settings using the card to be able to get in. but i cannot help beyond that.

Try reseating your memory one stick at a time in each slot one at a time and see if you can get video back.

No VGA output

Hello the drivers site is here:

http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?cat=Download&Model=G41M-VS3

The manual:

http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?cat=Manual&Model=G41M-VS3

I think you should drop the onboard graphic and install a better graphic card in the 1 x PCI Express x16 slot on the mainboard.

Check the power supply for any fault. Is it new ???
You can not use the old Power supply because it might have a 20 pin connector this asrock has a 24 pin connector.
Check also you not have used the extenal graphic power connector in the 4 pin 12 + volt on the mainboard.
Check also all your power connections.

Reply me again if you can`t find the fault.

Good luck

Asrock K7VM3 mother board with AMD Athlon 2600+ processor.
The Motherboard is having a AGP slot which says to use AGP with 4X and 1.5 V
Can someone suggest the market products available
when I contact the technical team of Asrock. they responded as below:
The AGP slot on K7VM3 is the standard AGP x8 slot , as long as the VGA card you want to buy is standard AGP VGA card , K7VM3 can support the standard AGP VGA card.
Or , you can double check your question with your VGA card vender before you buy it .

How to increase the shared memory for the internal graphics. i searched everywhere in the bios but i couldn't find a setting. the upper limit is 64 mb and it is currently set to 8 mb. i want to increase...

Your AGP aperture size is 64 MB but your "Onboard VGA Share Memory" may be set only to the maximum available setting in your BIOS. (You may already be at maximum)

1. Highlight "Onboard VGA Share" press <Enter>
2. Change value with [+] or [-]
3. F10 Save and Exit

VGA PROBLEM

Your onboard video might not be working. I suggest getting a Video card and installing that. If onboard video is a must have then you can buy a low video card that fits your mobo, then search online for your mobos onboard video driver and then your onboard VGA should work.

ASrock P4i45GV Motherboard

Hi sandesh8, did you know you can increase the memory size of the onboard AGP card above the 64MB? Page 26 in you're manual. If you install another AGP card into the opened AGP slot, please go to this site & only use the recomended AGP cards in the Asrock list. Click on this link: http://www.asrock.com/mb/vga.asp?Model=P4i45GV%20R5.0&s=478&c=VGA
This is one of very few video cards found on the list with 256MB of video memory.
