How do i factory reset my zte concord v768?

To perform a hard reset, or factory reset, then there are a number of methods to try:

1) From the home screen, press Menu - Settings - Privacy - Factory data reset - Reset phone. It may ask for a password. Then select Erase everything

If the phone is totally unresponsive, even after a reboot, then try the following methods.

2) While the phone is turned off, press and hold the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons together. Then, while holding these, press and release the Power button (keep holding the volume buttons). The phone should turn on and a menu will appear. Press the Volume down button to navigate to the Recovery option. Press the Volume Up to select (if that doesn't work, use the Power button to select). A yellow triangle and an Android logo will appear. Press the Volume Down and Volume Up button together and a recovery menu should appear. 3) While the phone is turned off, press and hold the Volume Down button. Then, while holding, press and release the Power button. A menu should appear. Use the Volume down key to go to Clear Storage. Use the Power button to select the option. Then when asked to confirm, press Volume Up for Yes.

4) While the phone is off, press and hold down Volume Up + Home + Power buttons at the same time. Then release the buttons when you see the Logo. Use the Volume Down button to go down and the Home or Power key to select. Choose the Wipe data/Factory reset option. Then Select Yes to delete all user data. Then choose to reboot the phone.

5) A final method is to enter the code into your phone's dialer: *2767*3855# This method will not give you an option to reverse the process, so be careful! You can do that under memory management by copying all files to SD card

Try these steps:

1. Make sure your phone has been powered off.
2. Hold down Volume up key and press Power key at same time until the screen lights up.

Hi Joe Ricker, Let's try to remove that lock, the only problem here is that you will loose all information and data that is stored in your phone. If that is OK with you, I'll try to explain how to factory reset.
Make sure that you have at least 50% of battery charge. With the phone on, take the battery out and place it back. press the volume down and power key at the same time until you see an android icon with an exclamation mark, while doing this step you will see the original android logo, it's not that one. The one I'm explaining here comes after the original android logo.
Once you see the android with the exclamation mark, let go of the buttons. To activate the recovery tap the home key, now scroll down to wipe data/ factory to highlight it, now tap the menu to select, scroll down to yes and tap the menu.
Repeat the same step for wipe cache.
Back at the main recovery page, scroll up to reboot, tap the menu and you should have a brand new factory reset ZTE 768 with no pattern or lock.

Did you try to root ur phone? If yes you wont be able to repair it from the service provider or the manufacturer. If not contact T-Mobile first and check if they can repair it for you.

May have a low memory issue going on.. Turn off any unnecessary features, and try pulling the battery out and putting it back in.. If that doesn't help, you my have to do a hard reset and restore it back to its factory condition...
