The problem is the fact the nintendo ds only supports only one security setting which is 128 bit wep. You were probaly trying to connect to a modem with wpa2 or something else. If you want your ds to connect, consult your modem's manual to change the security to 128 Bit WEP and think of a ten character password (no less or it won't work).

you need a access point for internet i dont know if you pay for internet on wii but a wifi max gives internet for wii ds ps3 xbox360 and many more devices and such hope i helped and try a test to check connection hope it helped

You can only connect to internet if someone is sharing their Wifi. If it is password protected, you won't have any luck. You're best off heading to Starbucks or McDonalds for free Wifi to connect to the internet.

I'll advise briefly, but suggest you find the router page address (something like 198.168.2.1). You can find this by looking in the manual for the router. You can also double click to open the router and then "open device webpage"

This will allow you to access the router settings and configure the wireless protocols and passwords / security. Without knowing which router you are using, I cannot give specific help.

You need to ensure that the wireless password that you set in the router is typed EXACTLY into the network connection on your PC / laptop

The DS has a WiFI chip built in but its mainly for connecting one DS to another DS. Try Pictochat with another DS user. You can use the WII with your Wifi but you'll need an R4 or Evolution card
which aren't legal to sell in some countries. Once you have one of these you can use different
homebrew apps to access the net

The error code 51330 means that the WiFi cannot get through to your Wii because of the security system you currently have installed on your router. Did you try to set up your Wi-fi connection settings or your not in a good Wi-fi connection zone.If that doesn't work mabey not made by or for nintendo.
