My Nook Library has disappeared on my Nook-how do I restore it?

I recently bought some new ebooks from Barnes & Noble & my nook down loaded everything fine-but then a few days later my nook library disappeared! My nook shows I have NO books in my library or on my shelves--I had 146 books!! How do I restore my library?

Download all the archived and unarchived books and save them to your computer. Never deleted these.
You have two options for the archived books.
Un-archive them and they will appear on your nook and download as you see fit.
OR... Sideload them. Which is probably what you did before since archived books already disappear from your My B&N Library and would have had to be in your My Documents Library.
Not exactly sure what you mean by 'does not go to my nook' when you try and save/download from the website.

If still having any kind of issue then you can take nook support from experts or call nook help number.

SOURCE: my sync continiosly spins, however

I've had the problem where my nookcolor would not sync with the B&N nook for pc. Updated the software to 1.01 and it worked until I hooked the cable up to my pc, then it stopped updating again even though I had ejected (safely remove hardware). I tried reseting the nook "hold the power button a few seconds and then press and hold the volume up button, release both when screen flashes. I have to repeat this each time I hook the nook to the pc and eject.

In order to start using your Nook, you'll need to register it through the Barnes & Noble website - I've shared the steps below. Once you've registered it, you will be able to start purchasing and reading books. Please note that you will need to set-up a B&N.com account first. That is done on BN.com and simply click "new user account." Once you have set that up, follow the below Nook set-up steps.
NOOK Set-Up Steps

  1. Charge your new NOOK 3G or NOOK Wi-Fi for 3-hours from a wall outlet using the Power Adapter and USB Cable packed at the bottom of your NOOK box.
  2. Turn on your NOOK by pressing the power button at the top.
  3. Connect to Wi-Fi.
  4. Register your device by entering your BN.com account email.
  5. Tap the down arrow button in the lower right corner of your color touchscreen.
  6. Enter your BN.com password.
  7. Tap Submit

SOURCE: nook hooked up for billing

make sure that the billing address is the same as the credit card's billing address, I believe that it does not except any address outside the USA territories or canada. I would log into the B&N website and go under account settings to payment settings and edit the info, if anything add the same card again, i had that issue and it worked after i did that. Hope that helps!

SOURCE: I just purchased a Nook

I assume you already have WiFi, if you don't, I suggest going out to wal-mart and buying a cheap wireless router to get you started. Then the instructions should explain how to get the password set up.
If you already have WiFi and the problem is that you forgot your password, then this should be able to be fixed easily if you know or have not changed the password for your WiFi router. Below is a set of steps to resolve the issue. The only requirement is a computer connected to the same router via WiFi or Ethernet.
1. Open Command Prompt (in windows) or open Terminal (in Mac OSX) 2. In the command line, enter "ipconfig" and press enter. 3. Look for Default Gateway and remember the corresponding IP Address. (Format: ###.###.###.###) It might look like 192.168.2.1 but not necessarily. 4. Remember that IP Address (write it down, copy it, do something). 5. Open your favorite web browser and enter that IP Address into the URL box. 6. This should ask you login, if it doesn't, skip step 7. 7. use the username that you set up the router with, or if you didn't change it, try using "admin" as the username and "admin" as the password. Try not using a password. If you still can't figure it out, use google to try and find the default password for your brand of router. 8. Once logged in, you can restore factory settings, or change your WiFi Password.

Having more information would have been helpful. (Aka - Router Brand, Is it your router, are any computers connected to it) Hope this was helpful.

Ideleted nook app

Well, reinstall nook! Stop laughing.

Use the app ES File Manager and locate the folder where B&N stores your Nook books locally on your particular system (i.e. Documents\My Barnes & Noble eBooks). Use the ES File Manager to move the files to your PC. Import the books into Calibre on your PC.

My nook did a factory reset, where are my books?

If you log into Barnes and Noble under your account, you can retrieve all your items THAT YOU BOUGHT FROM BARNES AND NOBEL. Any thing else, (free ebooks from gutenberg.org for example.) are gone.
You can back up photos, music, and non-Barnes and Noble items to your computer.

I bought an app on my nook color then deleted it then tried to buy it again but it said it was in my library

Thats because it is in your unit's "registry." You may have deleted it when you should have uninstalled it.
