Question about Lenovo IdeaPad Z560 Notebook
Installed windows 8 pro. Brightness is full and can't reduce it
Hey, believe me, you are not the last one who have this problem. I also had this problem same as you last week, and I google an instruction from the Internet, tells me open Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Power Options>Change plan settings. This worked for me well. Don't know whether it works for you or not. But you can have a try. Good luck! By the way, here's what this page shows me:

Your laptop button functionality will not work until you install the drivers necessary. Check online for the drivers and make sure that all of your drivers are installed in device manager. To get to device manager, right click computer and click manage. In the sidebar, go to device manager. I'm not quite sure if windows 8 has a software slider... it should be under power options where you can adjust the screen brightness to save battery. Good luck
