Put a new power board in the tv today. Yet still no real power up. Turn it on, goes to standby, then I try and watch tv, it flickers off and goes back to stand by. Ive double checked my connections a 1000 times.. what could be causing this?
Flickers as in the backlight flicekers. Could be cct protection for the baclight. faulty inverter board or lighting?

It is the power supply. Replace the C97, C19, and C16 Capacitors with 2.2 uF ones.

you need to remove main ckt, (m.board) some part need to re solder specially in hot area. (lost contact i one of the flickering problem you encountered.

Hi brendafoud, have you had this fixed as mine is the same and has been for months. It happened just after the warranty had ran out(typical). Bought from ebay and the people I got it from are not very helpfull. Have you got yours fixed yet?
