My game boy screen is dark

It sound like the color or the screen parts inside of the game boy color are not working properly so it would just be easier to buy a new one vs fixing the current one. The current one could be fixed but it might not be an easy fix and the fix might be complicated then.

Well technically there is no back light for gameboy colour but gameboy advance SP
has a built in light to it then. You can play gameboy color and original gameboy
games on an sp then.

Unfortunately, the Game Boy color has no backlight, so there's no way to make the screen any brighter. You can change the contrast, but that will only affect how dark things appear on the screen. Sorry.

you either play them under direct (sun) light or attach some kind of external light like a worm light for a game boy color/advance, but the light isn't evenly distributed. i have a halo light for my gb advance--better than nothing.

if you can, get a Game Boy Advance SP.
the screen has light and has a bigger screen.
you can get one at a Game Stop for $30.
Game Boy Advance SP play game boy, game boy color games, too.
if you choose to stay with the GB color, your boys will have to play their GBC's in well lit conditions.

It Doesn't. One of the Things they Didn't change was the Fact that there is no clock. Therefore it doesn't get Dark

You have a bugged game. It's most likely that you got your game on the internet from someone else. You will just have to buy a new game, or from someone you trust.

I'll assume you are on a Windows System. When you go to start, there should be a link that says either "My Computer" or "Computer".

On this page, there should be an Icon for this Alone in the Dark game, Double click on this Icon. This will either open another screen, or bring up an autorun, which will allow you to install the game. If it does not bring up a screen to install, Double click on the Setup.exe. This should start the installer.

According to this website, you can save your game in one of three slots between levels. But you must complete a level to be able to save.
