You CAN"T most of China phones are fake. If you can not connect it to the LP, PC then it's a FAKE, sorry. But most cell phone can be connected to any PC's or LP's China sells fake Ipod's too. Ther is no way that you can d/l anything into the fake China phone, it will not work.
Use itunes it will load required drivers itself, If the bottom Port for usb/charger is small not the big one its a fake IPOD and will require specific drivers it came with and wont work on itunes
if real IPOD itunes will be able to connect to it perfect, IPOD's dont require driver disks as all Windows O/S have drivers for them as there just mass storage devices
common problem...hope you bought the extended warranty you can try resetting it but usually when the die like that its the pc board... seen several like it incl. my sons that was 2 months out of warranty and apple could care less
real ipod - go to apple, search reset utility. Fake ipod (itunes hates it) go to ebay guides and read about fake capacity mp4 players. Use the test software suggested.
iTunes work best with downloading music. If you have iTunes and the machine does not see the iPod when it is connected it may be a non-Apple product. There are lots of fake iPods out there
