Duplex model memory error/ Image data error
Detail 1. The memory capacity for the duplex model
machine is wrong. Insufficient memory
capacity.
2. Duplex setting is set for a single surface
model.

Sharp ar-m205

L1 indicates the laser mirror motor is bad. The laser would have to be replaced to fix properly.

My error message is E 7 flashing. After leaving it off over night it worked for a couple of copies. Now I am getting the same error message E7.

press and hold the copy key the second part of the code will show then go to google and type in "sharp ar-m205 E7-xx"
where xx is the last of the code you should get an answer there

The problem is you don't have enough memory to scan A3 in 600dpi. You can either try lowering the dpi or add additional memory.

Error CE while scanning though N/W in Sharp AR M-205

If subcode is 00 then network connection is problem, if 02, then its not talking to the network scanner tool on the computer. Might be an IP address problem, where the address in the webpage of copier is wrong for the PC.

Hello sir; this error code require reset the procedure as follow;
1, press "#", "interrupt", "clear", "interrupt".
2, enter 14, press start.
3, turn power off and back on

System settings on Sharp AR-M205

Found a very good solution...Use Adobe Acrobat to do the scanning. Launch Adobe Acrobat and select the AR-M205 as your scanner and proced from there. Adobe will pull up the Sharpe software to do the actual scanning but Adobe will be in charge and create a pdf file. I am using Adobe 6.0 which is not one of the free versions, I think.

Remove the platen glass and clean make sure the white correction was clean if not just put a bond paper in white correction and paste to it, also clean the mirror will also help.

The problem is on the scanning unit try these steps:

STEP1: Press continuously CLEAR then INTERRUPT then ZERO then INTERRUPT

STEP2: The panel display will turn off it means that you are inside the simulation if not repeat again step1.

STEP3.Then type 14 then press the print button
