Connect it to the computer
go to windows media player
go to sync
make sure that the mp4 player is connected (by looking to the side and it says coby mp705 and it shows how much space is left)
look to the left side of the media player...(where it says artists, playlists, songs, albums)
there should be a coby 705 section
if its closed open it
go to artists or songs and right click on the song or artist you want to take out...and press delete

I have lost my info manuel. How do I erase unwanted dialogue

There are two types: Cassette and Digital. Which one (Model #) do you have?

In the cassette model, press ERASE and Fast Forward.
Failing that, you may need to record over the whole tape.

The Digital modells will allow you to erase one file at a time.
You may have to press PLAY and then ERASE while the file is playing. If that does not work, press ERASE at the beginning of the file.
It will ask you if you are sure you want to erase it.
If YES, then press ERASE again.

In either case, the erased files are not recoverable.

How do i delete music already on there

hi there,

for erasing the data on it you perhaps can find such option by either browsing the data management or settings section in the player's menu or by hooking it up to a PC and erasing the music files on it by using the windows explorer(handle player like a small external harddrive, but just delete the unwanted files, do not format(!) it as this will erase the firmware (necessary for the player!) )as well.

good luck

Dleting unwanted music

You can use Windows Explorer to transfer files to your insignia sport player. First, in the settings on your player, go to Settings, USB Mode, Connection Type and select File & Folder. Then, plug your player in to your USB cable. Windows XP should automatically find your player and make a new drive letter in Windows Explorer. Simply drag and drop your mp3 files from your c drive to the new drive for your player. You'll notice that when you delete the files on your new drive for your player that it doesnt remove them from your player. You'll need to use your player (settings, system, erase internal) to erase internal (and external), but after that when you add new files, they will be added to the player when it does the profiling after you disconnect the USB cable. Dleting unwanted music

If you haven't downloaded any music yet, go to settings, system, erase all, and select yes. If you have downloaded other music onto your mp3 player, go to settings, USB mode, media manager, and I believe there's some way to delete it individually that way. Though I haven't tried it yet.

There's always using your computer, go to my computer, select the insignia media drive, look for your music files and delete the music you don't want.
