I bought a new HDMI cable and tested it and it worked. The new cable doesn't work on my tv though.
A non supported device. You may want to use the RCA. Cable that is available on ebay. I had run into this before. It is the software that is in the TV. Your game is fine. Some of the older model Tv's didn't see or be able to understand some of the game software from your games console. But it should do just fine on the RCA input on your TV. Green is video. Use yellow if you don't have the gaming input on your TV. With this I do wish you the very best and happy gaming my friend. From a true gamer.
Can we talk about how it says “not support” and not “not supported” that bothers me more then thinking about the TV being broke.
I just turn my cable box off then back on and it resolves the issue for a while.

I recently had the same problem with my vizeo hdmi port # 1 going bad. Tried everything to fix and called vizeo. There solution for a master reset was turn off tv and unplug from the wall. then hold down the power button for 30 secs and let go. plug the tv back in and hold down the volume down and input select buttons down on side of the tv for 15 secs. release the buttons and turn the tv on after powering down all the components connectd to the tv. If this does not work they told me you need to have it sericed for a bad hdmi input. Hope this info helps anyone out there. It didn't work for me. Its a bummer cause the tv is well taken care of and only 18 months old. Best of luck to all others.

Is the HDMI port 2 work? Try to turn it off and turn it back on. If it is still not working then the HDMI ports have gone bad. You will need to replace the main board.

You get this issue because the TV does not support the resolution your xbox is displaying at. I had the same problem with my PC since I use the TV as a monitor. The TV will do a max resolution of 1360x768 so, you need to set your xbox to that resolution or the one closest to it as long as it is under that number.

Hello
One board takes in the HDMI as well as the other signals. Sometimes part of the board breaks and that is what sounds like has happend in your case. This is a fairly common problem and most people tend to just live with it. Others sell thier tv and a few find the number of thier board to see if one is available on ebay or shopjimmy. If you are comfortable with electronics the board is not hard to replace.
Im sorry your HDMI broke....
I hope this helps
