Usual cause for your error: memory error (data cannot be swapped out to disk using the paging file).
To troubleshoot Stop error 0x00000050
1.Remove any newly installed hardware - usually the video driver does that 
2.Run any system diagnostics supplied by your computer manufacturer,
especially the memory check.
3.Restart your computer, and then run Chkdsk /f /r on the system partition.  
4.Disable or uninstall any antivirus programs. 
5.Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. 

This usually happens when u fit any hardware to the system....The information which u gave seems its "Blue Screen of Death" or "BSOD" ........ if u have seen this screen only after u plugged in yr HDD, try with other HDD. Perhaps there might be an error with the HDD which u have plugged in.

This particular error would typically indicate a problem with memory mapping associated with a peripheral device. I was unable to locate a hit for okfu53.sys, but most likely this is a device driver of some type. The instruction to disable cache is a holdover from old hardware and operating systems and is most likely not actually applicable- however by disabling it is just two areas that are memory users that you don't need at that point. Frankly I would just reboot. If you see it again reinstall the video drivers.

most bios updates are found on the compaq website, they need to usually uncompress to a 3.5 floppy or they are auto-installing programs u get from the website, your issue however sounds to me more like a corrupted version of windows, did you try a fresh installation with the recovery cds or master disks?

try pressing F2 and DEL key rapidly after switch on until you get a BIOS or password request

Just use ORIGINAL OS CD and repair OS everything will work fine!
