Emerson volume keeps going down related problems. Ask your Emerson ... myEmerson TV. It turned itself down to zero and stayed on the screen and wouldn.
Get what use you can, there is not a way to "fix" that--the front screen unit is called a display panel and even if it was available the part alone would cost much more than the whole set did when new, time to go shopping for a new set.
if you don't have an idea in electronic repair i suggest to send it in trusted tv service shop. since replacing an lcd monitor is not easy you must considered something not to be damaged too. besides you can not get the same replacement in local store.
Sorry, but no. new LCD screen will be needed, cost more than the TV is worth due to limited production. You can try contacting www.shopjimmy.com to see how he wants.
Please ignore the first solution as that blink code definition is for a Sony CRT based set, NOT an Emerson.
Carefully examine the LCD panel itself with a flashlight and look for small cracks. Based upon your description of events, I think that the panel is actually cracked. This usually only prevents a picture from showing. The red lights are an indication of an internal problem and the set is in shutdown to prevent further damage.
Without seeing the actual unit, I cannot make a definite diagnosis, but I would initially suspect a power supply problem that may be relatively cheap to fix. If the set is relatively new, I'd invest in a detailed repair estimate. Post the info here from that estimate and we may be able to walk you through the actual repair.
