Error message: 12320 couldn't find the scanner. The computer can otherwise "see" the scanner, and it prints, copies, and faxes.
This is a Ricoh 1515MF.
This is a message on your PC...not the machine itself obviously? Was this scanner ever configured to work on your PC? If not, then follow this link to my comments to someone else about this machine:

There is in fact another option other than suggested, that I had never experimented with, until now -maybe this is how you had it configured originally. And it is much easier to configure for an end user, and that is the 'Network twain scanning" software.
get it here:

With this, you can use your adobe Photoshop, or similar to select "File", "Import", then select your 1515 scanner...hope this helps

The scanner had been previously configured and did work on another PC that crashed. We used adobe 5.0 to import. (obv this was awhile ago) I remember having this problem then but I don't remember how we fixed it.
It's a MF and the PC can print to it, but I can't get the scanner to communicate.
Any help appreciated.
