Numark tt1625 speed issue

I would like to know if it possible to use my Numark DXM09 mixer ... with two Numark ICDX players and use Numark Cue software

Your belt is probably worn and needs replacing. Lift felt on platter and and lift the platter section off the unit by putting your thumb and forefinger through the two large holes and pull upwards.There should not be any special routing for the belt and should go directly onto the spindle motor to your platter. Place the belt around the inside rim of the platter while it is still off the unit. Now replace the platter and move the platter around until you see the spindle motor through one of the holes. Use some tweezers to manouvre the belt onto the spindle motor. On some units you will have to lay the belt out inside the unit, replace the platter and manouvre the belt onto the platter. looks like u have a problem with ur motor....if u have a belt drive check the belt and replace it....lift turntable off and start the player u will be able whats going on...and go from there

Nope, nothing to it. The platter is just held down by gravity. Take a mallet or a piece of 2x4 block, and give the spindle a little whack. Not too hard, just enough to break the hold.

More than likely one of the Drive IC's has failed, and needs to be replaced.

Is the platter itself moving up and down or the record? It could just be the record's wear and tear (warped) which raises the tone-arm which in turn makes it move up and down on certain sections of the record. Try bending the record (very very slightly) to straighten it out or put more weight on the tonearm.

If your weight and such are correctly set, then the only other issue might be a worn stylus, or your tonearm might be damaged.

have you checked the brake and start up settings they are the dials by the start and stop buttons it it is turned too far the platter will start up slow, you just trun to dial till you get the right start up speed you want

These are direct drive turntables, so if your having speed issues, the problem is probably one of the drive circuits. Unfortunately, not an easy fix. So I suggest taking it to a service center for repair.

Does it slow down, when you do anything, or after a long period of time of being on/used? Or as soon as you turn it on, it slows down?

Any specific information would be greatly appreciated.
