My hand set is not working even after charging

check that you got the right make of battery for the charger
some phones use a nicad battery and others use a lit ion battery
2 different recharegable batteries -- 2 different chargers required

1. You need to know what the extension number was (1 - 8), look at the others to figure out what one is missing (the one you don't want anymore).
2. On the base unit, press and hold [INTERCOM] until the CHARGE indicator flashes.
3. Then, press and hold the handset's extension number (1 - 8) that you do not want for 5 seconds. A long confirmation beep should sound.

The hand set never worked since I bought it. All other hand sets work as well as the base. I would like you to send "free of charge" a replacement hand set as well as the base for the hand set Hand set which never worked has #OGBXBO61363 UNDER THE BATTERY COVER. wE TRYED REPLACING BATTERIES SWITCHING BASES ETC.

weak battery; change the battery.

Set the phone on the charging cradle and press the ON button while phone is in crade. You may need to use the speakerphone button to do this. Turning the phone on while in the charging cradle will resync your handset with its base. Try it! It should work!

several things check the base is connected to mains power and switched on.
You have obviously checked to see if it is outof range,and checked the batteries.
If you are using more than one base check that you ar connected to the right one.
Also if you have too many appliances connected to the phone point they won`t run.

A friend that worked for GTE advised me some yrs ago to do this and I have NOT had a problem with another battery since
when you get any new Battery charge it plugged in to the ac AND phone jack for a minimum of 24 hrs without using it.
all batteries have some memory and deminish power over time but if it was NOT fully charged to begin with as a yr goes by so does the battery life. hope this works,

I have the Panasonic phone system Mod. # KX-TG5371. My calls, in and out drop out after 1st ring often. Whats going on.
