Sorry to cantact yuo like this but I saw your name in a carrier string and was looking for some advice.
I have a Carrier thermostat and heating system. (infinity Control SYSTXCCUID01-A, Furnace 58 MPV and 38TDB AC). The thermostat will not permit the opportunity to program the fan speed during heating mode. According to the homeowners guide (page 23), it indicates the programmable fan is automatically defaulted to off. Your dealer will need to turn programmable fan on in the delaer thermostat setup screen. Do you know how to accomplish this?

Open the flap, and press and hold the advanced button for 10 sec. you will be in the Installer setup screen. scroll down to the setup subfolder and select thermostat and it will be in there.
The Carrier Infinity has a control board that will flash out a pattern giving you a hint of what could be wrong. To find it, remove the cover off of the furnace and you will see a small round clear window. Look and count the blinks. Then compare that number to the diagnostic chart found on the back of the furnace access cover.
