Info light on dishwasher stopped coming on while running.

I had to do a repair job with a bad solder on the circuit board, but now the light no longer works. The bad solder I fixed resolved the issue with the lengthy cycle time, though.

Please can you look at this link

Some of the bosch dishwasher are subject to a recall the problem is exactly the fault you have tried to rectify in your submission. The recall is free of charge and the units are between 5 and 14 years old. You will need to enter the full ENr, FD and Serial No to check if yours is affected.

SOURCE: Bad smell

Most problems with smells in Bosh Dishwashers come from failure to have the 20" rise in the drain line between the dishwasher and the drain as the installation manual requires.

My factory installer failed to do this. After looking at the installation manual, which shows a 20" rise, I used electrical ties to hold the drain line 20 inches above the floor. The smell which was causing us to run the rinse cycle every day to get rid of the smell has not been back in five days.

SOURCE: had a clogged garbage disposal, once fixed, the

if you didn't do the disposal fix yourself then there's a possibility that whoever did it closed the water valve to the dishwasher although there is no good reason to do that...

I would check the valve then make sure that a severe kink wasn't put in the water supply line while working on the disposal...

one other cause could be a relay switch stuck in the closed position which will not allow water to the unit and would of course be a total coincidence and unrelated to your disposal repair.

Bosch she56c02uc dishwasher does not cycle, stuck on wash

If the display is stuck on 2H it often means the heater is not working. If the water is not heated, the cycle will never complete. It is possible the heating element is bad, but a more likely problem is with the control module PC board. The solution requires some basic repair and soldering skills plus the tools to do the job. Bosch recommends re-soldering the connection to the heating element relay (see page 11 of "SHU/SHI/SHV Dishwasher Troubleshooting Tips") free download here The problem is that the circuit board copper is not heavy enough to handle the heating element current, causing the copper to heat and melt the solder connection. A better solution is to solder a short length of copper wire between the two pins to provide more copper and reduce the chance of heating as shown in the attached photo.

After running a diagnostic check, the rinse/ spin indicator light comes on stating that the "door lock system" is the actuator to be checked. This all started with a sock stuck between the drum...

Hi,

Often times the Door Lock problem (code FdL) is caused by bad solder joints (also known as cold solder joints) on the CCU circuit board. These cold solder joints cause bad communications with the door lock and the machine thinks there is a door lock problem. The repair is to remove the CCU circuit board (plastic case inside, top, back of the machine) remove the plastic case and circuit board as a whole, then remove the circuit board, it's easier that way. The spade connectors and relays (5 of them) connections will need to be redone. If your handy with soldering techniques the repair is not that hard. If not, take board in the case to a good appliance repair shop (along with this response) and they should be able to help you out. Good luck.

Cycle runs forever

Th Bosch units are prone to circuit board failure and this is the common symptom. If you are electronically inclined go the applianceaid.com and search Bosch for test codes to pinpoint the issue. There is an online picture of the faulty relay solder joint I repaired mine and a neighbors, Bosch will in some cases supply parts at no charge and they do not recommend repair, however IMHO it is a repairable cold solder joint very visible on the board. If you are good with needle tip soldering iron you are in luck

'Membrane buttons' as they are so called, just go bad. The circuit board is not part of the switches. circuit board not available? Chances are this part has a substitution that is available. Many models of this type have consolidated to 1 or 2 standard circuit boards and have obsoleted the originals.

I attempted a repair on my pt-53tw53 by replacing the 110 ic chip ( the one on the diagonal heat sink) but, I think I did a bad job of soldering. When I tested the set when turning the power on the set...

You can repair any of the traces with small wires from the affected pin to the next componnent on that trace. To remove the board label all wires that you disconnect. There are "bridge" connectors that connect the signal bd and main bd. these lift up off the main board and will stay attached to the board youre working on. If you need further info please let me know. Also use solder wick to remove the solder and get a small tip solder iron 30watt from radio shack. The proper way to solder is (1) allow the iron to heat up. (2) touch the hot tip to the pin on one side and then briefly touch the solder to the other side of that pin so the solder flows around the pin. Use the solder sparingly so you dont bridge the pins with solder. (3) always check your work with a magnifying glass to insure the pins arent bridged.
