Same problem, dont know how to clean strainer. I got my jucier from a garage sale and it didn't have a manual. I will be calling the 800 number tomorrow.

I bought a master gourmet juicer at a yard sale. Brand new but with no box or instructions. I can't even get it apart. I have done search query but can't find a thing. HELP!!!! Darcy
I had the same problem but discovered that it is just tightly stuck together. Pull straight up on the strainer, it is difficult but it will pop up. The base piece will follow.

Cleaning the strainer
I didn't have the appropriate "crescent tool" either, so I took a small screwdriver and while holding on to the outer orange sieve, I rotated the inner piece counter clockwise and it loosened so that I could fully disassemble the machine.
