All chairs are different, I would have to know your Chair Name, but you could also call the company for which your chair was made from if its Quatum- it would be Quatum Rehab, or if you got the chair thru a Specialist, ask the specialist what makes it not move while charging it, They might be able to help, if you explain what you wnat to do. I've never heard of a Solar Powered Wheelchair with a standard wheelchair, only ones that have been built that way.All chairs are different, I would have to know your Chair Name, but you could also call the company for which your chair was made from if its Quatum- it would be Quatum Rehab, or if you got the chair thru a Specialist, ask the specialist what makes it not move while charging it, They might be able to help, if you explain what you wnat to do. You cannot make a powerchair operate while it is charging. For safety purposes the power cuts out when charging batts. The only power is going to the batteries.

Hi:
The Travelux power chair seat raises and lowers with the height adjust switch. The switch will only work if the chair is stationary, and the chair will only move if the seat is lowered all the way , for safety reasons
Code 8: Controller problem. Also, check to see if your gearbox levers are engaged - if you can roll the chair by hand the gearbox is not engaging the motors.
All that eans is that when you are charging the batteries you are unable to drive the chair. Its a safety feature to ensure that you won't accidently make the chair move with the charger plugged in. Just plug the charger into the charger port turn off the chair and then plug the charger into the wall charge overnight and in the morning unplug the charger from the wall and then from the joystick. Always have the charger off when plugging ang unplugging from the chair. With the M41 charger get a power strip with an on/off switch plug the charger into the strip and use the on/off switch to turn the charger on and off before you plug it into the chair Hope this helps you
The chair will not move if the charger is plugged in. The flashes are normal with the charger plugged into the chair. The lights on the charger mean that the batteries have been fully charged. Red and yellow lights mean charging. After you unplug the charger from the chair (if off-baord charger, turn charger off or unplug from the wall) then unplug from joystick. after plug is removed from joystick press the on button and all the battery lights should be lit and when you move the joystick forward you will hear the electric bake release and the chair should move forward etc Hope this helps
the solar panel is just to charge your inverter,if it is charging and
the inverter is on it will drain the current the solar panel is
supplying to the batteries, this makes it look like it is not charging
,so i advice you to switch off you inverter when charging it,get
another set of batteries connected to your solar panel then charge
both, let them be separated so that the new one is not in use so that
when solar is out you can switch to the other set of batteries
