Do i need new software so that can connect to new laptop

Hi, you will have to use another system that does not have restrictions to software.
Or you will have to Run/install a new windows that doesn't select application. Like windows Xp,or windows Vista. Am sure that will do.

You must install a software driver in your laptop to recognize or read your mobile phone, or cell phone..

with an USB-miniUSB cable torught active sinc ( windows XP ) or Sync Center (windows vista and windows 7). The main problem is that you need to install the windows mobile device center. On XP is easy ... insert the disc in youre CD drive and install the software. In Visla you will have to download the Windows Mobile Device Center from microsofts download center ( requires windows authentification and if youre windows is not licensed you will fail to authentificate and so to download the WMDC ) i will make a upload with the WMDC on filefactory so you could install it safely. Works in Vista 7 and XP but in XP you have to install ActiveSync first ( from the CD witch came with the phone.. if i remember right it's the "Getting Started" disc )

I think u would not had installed the drivers software properly. Uninstall the drivers for ur phone in ur laptop . then without connecting the phone to the laptop install the drivers . now restart and connect the phone to ur laptop . go to add hardware option and add the phone. now it'll ask for the location of software. select the option as cd. it'll ask for the port no. and all other details.. give them correctly ... select ur phone from the list and install it. now ur phone is ready to work with ur lap top
