How do you use headphones to mix with your Numark Cue? Obviously the headphones allow you to listen to the currently playing track, but I need to listen to the track not being played to make my mixes better. Can anyone guide me on this?
I have a similar problem. When I listen through the headphones it only plays whats coming out the master line. If I switch it to the other channel I cannot hear it unless I crossfade over and play the other channel through the master line....I might as well not listen through the headphones as its the same as whats coming out on master. To change headphone track, use the cue slider which is located on the right of the control panel above the right chanel treble control and below the cue gain control. chanel 1 or 2 can be selected or in the middle for a mix of both tracks just like the cross fader.

hmm there must be a button w a secondary function for the auto cue. if not are you using software with it. check there as well. if you cant find it let me know ill do some research for ya.
If you don't have the manual it is here:http://www.behringer.de/EN/downloads/pdf/DJX700_P0165_M_EN.pdf Have a look at page 4 under Monitor, mode switch and mix control. You might be having problems with them.
I have this same problem. I haven't found a solution anywhere, but a great workaround is using the Fader Start function - basically the moment the fader is slid into the main mix, the deck which you enable will start to play the tune. Hit the mode button, then select control, and turn on Fader start. It's actually really cool and allows you to do some ballsy mixes :) The deck will pause (or cue depending on the setting) once you bring it back.
