My Samsung HLP-5063 DLP starting making a loud buzzing noise recently. ... I've only used it to watch TV for a half hour or so at a time, as I have a new LED LCD in my room. ... there may be abreak on the av board . is it doing on cable,dvd another source the front panel jacks sometimes develops breaks sound like you may need a tech look at it

the high pitch noise is from the HV. arcing acrss each other.
( the screen comes up at a pop).
I suggest get a better one. ( sorry! no domastic brand).

No , if fuse was blown you would not get the popping. How old is unit ? It sounds like your high volt splitter. common problem with rca. repair should not cost more than 250.00. you will want to have chassis number  and manu date for help

Hi, There are usually 1 or 2 fans inside the TV's. Could be worn bearings, or fan blade interference. Sorry, without my electric ear working, I can only guess.

Thats usually a sign of the flyback or HV Splitter nearing the end of their operational lifespan. However its not an exspensive fix unless done ay a repair shop then it can be a few hundred.

Ok maybe this may help .... there is a coil LL08 I believe... somtimes it creates a high pitch whine like you describe.. its stands up on the deflection board..it basicaly a large coil of copper wire....you can take silcon and put on the coil...in effect damping the ocillations...hope that might help

there has been a few cases of a coil in the cuircit whinning. and there is a simple fix...applying some silicone onto the coil to dampen it. the coil is ll037 on deflectin board. location m2 a black compnent with coil of copper wire wrap around it. thats my initale thought. it may be more. since you still have a picture.. any questions email me at [email protected]

I have a very high pitched sound and when I move the tv it will stop for a second or two and then start again. The sound sometimes stops all together. But very high pitch sound.
